What could be more delightful than a weekend, a longer stay or a holiday in restful, comfortable surroundings, somewhere that’s reassuring yet offers fresh perspectives, somewhere that offers the very best in refined, charming bed and breakfast or small charming hotel accomodation. These charming bed and breakfasts and small charming hotels are to be found in chateaux, in historical residences, manor houses, but also in more ‘simple’ accommodation that has nevertheless been fitted and decorated with style and finesse and frequently situated in surroundings that are outstanding as regards their views, landscapes or the quality of their general environment.

 Les Chambres de La Houeyte

Les Chambres de La Houeyte This farmhouse is currently being restored and is set in 8 hectares of rich agricultural land in Aquitaine, in the Val de Garonne ( between the Garonne river and the Garonne Canal). This is where each Summer we thoroughly enjoy ourselves ensuring that you have a great holiday. We have chosen to convert an old scullery that dates back to 1846 into a bedroom (40m2). This room is separate from our house and has its own 100m2 garden and a clear field of view. Sympathetic restoration has preserved its rustic character: wood ceilings, whitewashed walls. It offers both the charm of the old and the comfort of the new: reversible air conditioning (heats or cools), satellite television, DVD/video player, Wi-Fi access – designer shower room – separate toilets – mini-bar – separate dining area (meals to be booked in advance). On site facilities/activities: 6x12 metre swimming pool, games, bicycles, ponies and goats.
